More than anything, this info is a tool to be used but not an "across the board law" as others have eluded to. I know that it has helped me avoid bets more than anything. If I'm thinking of taking a dog in the NFL, I ask myself "do I think they have a shot to win this game?" If the answer is no, I'll typically lay off. If answer is yes, I check the ML number and decide if I'm going to bet it all ML or "sprinkle" a bit.
