49ers president Jed York announced Sunday night OLB Aldon Smith will not play in Week 4 against the Rams and has been "suspended indefinitely."
Coach Jim Harbaugh let Smith play Sunday at Indianapolis, just two days after he wrecked his car driving drunk with drugs in his ride. It sounds like upper management intervened and deemed the well being of the community more of a concern than winning football games.

How can the 49ers say this guy needs to go to a rehab and they have him play today ?
You just told the entire NFL your winning a game is more important than the issues this guy has.
If you think he has a problem so bad he needs to be in a rehab. Then you take him off the field.
