jumperjack,
I can honestly say I have no clue as to what significance the day of the week has in MLB. When I initially ran the search, it had no "day" restrictions. But while I was looking at all the results, I noticed a bunch of games on Thursday lost, so I added the "day". Lo' & behold...0-7 s/u...now 0-8. Then added "1 day of rest" & 0-3-1 o/u...now 0-4-1 o/u.
It's just something I noticed when I started using sdql many years ago in the NFL. Little quirky things that stood out & gave a bettor an edge for whatever reason. I also add that I am in no way a professionally capper or gambler but the research is my "diversion"...something I can lose myself in from the daily grind of the reality of life itself.
Personally, I wanted to see the Giants win & face my Braves. And would really like to see a Braves/RedSox World Series, but that is a pipedream...LOL.
