Didn't even notice you posted this. I just posted a thread myself.
Had the pleasure of having him in on the 2nd show I ran in the building I met my wife at.
I can admit that in my day I could drink with the best of them. But Jimmy wasn't one of them.
I do feel sorry for the family of his former girlfriend who died many years ago and recently the case was opened back up charging Jimmy with murder. Since they have no closure on if her death was an accident or not
The judge felt Jimmy wasn't healthy enough mentally or physically to stand trial.
I find it strange that they opened the case back up over what was written in a book compared to what Snuka told Police at the time.
Why do I find it strange. Jimmy couldn't read or write. So somebody else would have written the book.
I know he couldn't read or write because either I had to bring his agent in or the Headshrinkers in to help him find his hotel and our arena.
I couldn't remember what he was involved in.Thought it was a death but wasn't sure.
I don't watch to much wrestling anymore but years ago couldn't wait for the weekends to watch good old fashion wrestling like the 4 horsemen.
I worked at a hotel about 30 years ago and alot of the wrestlers stayed there when they came to the Wheeling Civic Center.Met some of them including Ric Flair, Mean Gene and Scary Sherrie among others.
Funny how you think all your younger years how real it is and then see them all come down and eat breakfast or lunch together.
