After probably one of the nicest winters I've seen in many a year we got freakin hammered last night 100k winds and gusting with snow and rain. Still warm with temps around -2C but power out in a lot of places and my yard is littered with branches wow. Going out to shovel which I only had to do once this year when we got a 12" dump of snow. Strange year up here

Geez Tom 65-70 MPH winds, been there done that, as long as no tress fall on structures or anyone gets hurt.....hope you're okay. Do you have to shovel much or a small area? Otherwise you shouldn't be out doing that. Head to Home Hardware and treat yourself to a snowblower!!!!!!!!

Lots of shoveling Brock, took two hours to do mine today. I got big trees in my backyard and it's just littered with branches after last night. Got lots of kindling for my 1st fire of the year lol. We lost power for 4 hours but the weather was warm so no problem there plus I got a waterbed , nice and toasty under the comforter, lol. My daughter lives between here and Moose Jaw and they're still without power since 10 last night plus all my farm buddys in that area are still down. Do love a good storm though I must say but that was way to windy

chicago area weather has been very mild
we have 1-5 inches of snow on the ground
depending on exactly were you are
we've been getting our snow with rain,then snow,then frreeze
so snow will take awhile to thaw and run off
all in all it hasnt been that bad here
good luck to everybody on weather woes
