Win Some, Lose Some NFL Style
According to Lorenzo Reyes of USA TODAY, kickoff weekend was not kind to last year's Super Bowl teams.

The participants in Super Bowl 56 had a Week 1 to forget when for the first time since 1999, and the 5th time overall, the two Super Bowl teams from the previous year each lost their season opener.

And how bad was it for the AFC South, who failed to win a game when Jacksonville lost to Washington and Tennessee fell to the NY Giants – while Houston and Indianapolis battled to a tie against one another.

In addition, on the other side of the coin there were four rookie NFL head coaches making their debuts Sunday: Mike McDaniel of the Dolphins, Kevin O'Connellof the Vikings, Brian Daboll of the Giants and Matt Eberflusof the Bears. Each of them won and covered their games.

After a woeful offensive performance in a 17-14 loss to Appalachian State - one of biggest upsets in Texas A&M history - Aggies coach Jimbo Fisher is making changes.

He is turning the keys of the offense over to his offensive coordinator.

Texas A&M is 103rd nationally in total offense after gaining just nine first downs and 186 yards of total offense against the Apps, who had surrendered 63 points to North Carolina the previous week.

For what it's worth, in Fisher's first 50 games with A&M the Aggies went 35-15. In Kevin Sumlin's first 50 games with A&M they went 36-14.

Atlanta is not only the best team in MLB at 16-6 on Tuesdays this season, they are also a jaw-dropping 27-3 against losing teams during the second-half of the season this campaign.

With Kyle Wright12-1 in his last thirteen team starts, look for San Francisco to become the home of the Braves tonight.
