Mike Evans (knee) was officially "DNP" for Tuesday's practice.
Evans was moving around during the portion of Bucs practice open to the media, but he didn't do enough to earn a "limited" tag. Evans' status certainly cannot be taken for granted for Saturday evening's game against the Football Team. The Bucs could be Super Bowl-or-bust enough that they may be willing to risk holding Evans out in an effort to have him closer to 100 percent for bigger fish to fry down the road.

Stefon Diggs (oblique) was "limited" in Tuesday's practice.
It's a new issue for Diggs, though there has yet to be an indication it is a serious one. With Cole Beasley (knee) likely to sit against the Colts, Diggs figures to be babied through the week.

ESPN's Lindsey Thiry reports Jared Goff (thumb) has thrown passes in practice ahead of the Wild Card game against the Seahawks.
Coach Sean McVay said Goff is "preparing himself to play" but that a starting quarterback decision hasn't been made. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that it would be "challenging" for Goff to be ready following his thumb surgery. The Rams' practice reports are obviously worth following over the next few days.

The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue reports Cooper Kupp (COVID-19) will return to practice on Wednesday.
Kupp was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on December 29 and missed the regular season finale. Provided nothing changes, Kupp will be ready to go for the Wild Card Round against the Seahawks.

Alex Smith (calf) was limited on Wednesday.
Smith received a day off on Tuesday but is expected to play and start in the Wild Card round against the Bucs. He will not be at 100% health, however. Smith's scrambling ability has been compromised by his calf strain, and he averaged 5.1 yards per attempt against the tanking Eagles in Week 17

Stefon Diggs (oblique) was downgraded to "DNP" for Wednesday's practice.
Diggs was limited Tuesday. It sounds minor and more of the Bills giving their stud WR1 some rest before a big playoff game. For what it's worth, Diggs said Wednesday that he's fine.

JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) did not practice Thursday.
Smith-Schuster needs to get in a limited practice on Friday to have a reasonable shot to suit up for Sunday's playoff game against Cleveland.

Alvin Kamara (COVID-19) tweeted Thursday "see y’all Sunday."
Kamara is ineligible to rejoin the team in person before Sunday morning — the Saints play the Bears at 4:40 PM ET

Speaking Thursday, Rams coach Sean McVay remained coy on Jared Goff's (thumb, questionable) status for the Wild Card Round.
"We are going to work through that and we will see on Saturday," was McVay's response when asked if Goff would start against the Seahawks. The coach did note that Goff "recovered without a problem from Wednesday" and did "everything asked Thursday." The Los Angeles Times reports Goff "showed no problem gripping the ball or passing" on Thursday. Goff said he is "progressing well" and not having problems with snaps from under center. It would seem as if Goff is on the right side of his questionable tag, but nothing can be assumed with a quarterback thumb injury.

A.J. Brown (ankle) remained sidelined for Friday's practice.
Brown's normal in-season regimen was getting rested for at least one practice mid-week, but his limited availability Wednesday followed by two DNPs ahead of Sunday's Wild Card game is concerning. Coach Mike Vrabel himself said "we'll see" what Brown's designation is.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports Mike Evans "plans to play" in the Wild Card game against the Football Team.
Evans is officially listed as questionable after getting in some practice work late in the week. It's possible that he plays in a reduced role, especially if the Bucs jump out to a big lead as touchdown favorites.

Re: NFL Players News and Weather Playoffs Edition.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports there's a "real chance" Taylor Heinicke starts the Wild Card game against the Bucs.
Smith's calf injury is reportedly still sore and "hasn't loosened up" after pushing through the strain in Week 17. Smith certainly didn't look anywhere near full health last Sunday and would be playing at less than full health again if he ends up suiting up through his questionable tag.

A.J. Brown (ankle) will play in the Wild Card game against the Ravens.
Brown wasn't available for Thursday's and Friday's practices but will still enter Sunday without an injury designation on the final injury report.

Bills elevated WR Duke Williams from the practice squad.
Williams won't be thrown to the wolves for 10 Wild Card targets again, but his presence does hint that both Stefon Diggs (oblique) and Cole Beasley (knee) could be limited if active for Saturday's Wild Card game.

Cole Beasley (knee) is active for Saturday's Wild Card game against the Colts.
Beasley and Stefon Diggs (oblique) are both active. With Gabriel Davis and John Brown healthy, it means Josh Allen will have his top-four receivers for the first time since Week 10.

Re: NFL Players News and Weather Playoffs Edition.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Rams QBs John Wolford (neck) and Jared Goff (thumb) "should be OK."
Wolford left the Rams' Wild Card game versus Seattle with a head/neck injury and had to be taken to a local hospital. He left after a short stay and Schefter reports that he and Goff are both fine. Goff battled through a thumb injury that forced him into emergency QB duty instead of starting. With Wolford leaving, Goff entered the lineup and pulled off an ugly upset over the Seahawks. Goff looks likely to start in the division round given that he was able to make it through a full game once already and will get more rest this week.
