Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) is unlikely to play in Week 11 against the Lions.
ESPN's Adam Schefter said the Panthers are "preparing [for] a multi-week absence" for their star running back after he hurt his shoulder late in the team's Week 9 loss to Tampa.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said Drew Brees (ribs) could "miss some time" after suffering a rib injury in the Saints' Week 10 win over the 49ers.
Brees suffered a rib contusion on a hard hit in the first half against the Niners, and will undergo an MRI Monday to test for cartilage damage. He told head coach Sean Payton he wouldn't be able to play in the second half, and Jameis Winston took over, delivering an uneven performance.

Tyler Lockett (knee) did not practice Tuesday.
Lockett has gone back-to-back days without practicing ahead of an in-division Thursday night game against the Cardinals. Coach Pete Carroll said has "a bit of a knee sprain" but the severity is unknown.

Carlos Hyde (hamstring) was a full participant in practice Tuesday.
Hyde has been eyeing a Week 11 return, and he's now firmly on track.

Chris Carson (foot) was limited in practice Tuesday.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Carson was expected to play in Week 11, and Tuesday's upgrade from DNP to limited suggests he's on pace.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports Teddy Bridgewater is expected to be limited in practice Wednesday.
By all accounts, Bridgewater is day-to-day with a "minor" MCL sprain. He's likely to practice in limited fashion all week, but he appears to be on the right side of questionable for now.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Chris Carson (foot) is unlikely to play in Week 11 against the Cardinals.
Coach Pete Carroll called Carson "real close" and plans to take his status to game-time. Carson is nearing his return from a mid-foot sprain, but a short week with limited practice may be enough to hold him out.

Duke Johnson missed Wednesday's practice with an illness.
No national reporter called attention to it, so we are not too worried about Johnson's status for Week 11 against the Patriots.

Sammy Watkins (hamstring) returned to practice in full on Wednesday.

Teddy Bridgewater (knee) practiced on a limited basis on Wednesday.

Joe Mixon (foot) was held out of Wednesday's practice ahead of Week 11's game against Washington.
Mixon has not played since Week 6, and it seems unlikely he suits up this weekend.

Teddy Bridgewater (knee) is unlikely to play in Week 11 against the Lions.
Bridgewater was at Thursday's practice, walking with a limp. It's unclear who will start under center for Carolina this week with Will Grier and P.J. Walker splitting practice reps.

Davante Adams (ankle) did not practice Thursday.
It's a downgrade for Adams, who got in a limited practice on Wednesday after playing through the ankle issue in Week 10 against the Jaguars. His Week 11 status likely hinges on his Friday practice participation.

D'Andre Swift is in the league's concussion protocol and could miss Week 11 against the Panthers.
Swift, who practiced fully on Wednesday, didn't practice Thursday.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire was held out of Thursday's practice with an illness.
As did Darrel Williams, leaving Le'Veon Bell and Darwin Thompson as the only backs to suit up. As of early Thursday evening, there hasn't been any indication the backs are dealing with COVID-19, but the Chiefs have been hit relatively hard by coronavirus issues.

Sammy Watkins (hamstring) was downgraded to "limited" in Thursday's practice.
Not what you want to see, though this is probably just the Chiefs managing Watkins' reps following his long layoff.

Carlos Hyde, DeeJay Dallas, and Bo Scarbrough will be the Seahawks' active running backs on Thursday night against the Cardinals.
Hyde, recovered from his hamstring injury, should serve as the lead back against Arizona.

According to ESPN's Dianna Russini, Jameis Winston "will not be part of any offensive packages" Week 11 against the Falcons.
Despite replacing Drew Brees following his injury last week, Winston is getting sent to the bench in favor of Taysom Hill against Atlanta.

Speaking Friday, coach Doug Pederson said Zach Ertz (ankle, I.R.) "probably needs a little more time" and is unlikely to be activated in time for Week 11 against the Browns.
