The Week 5 game between the Bills and Titans could be moved to Monday or Tuesday.
Players for both teams were reportedly told delaying the Week 5 game was one option under consideration as the Titans deal with their COVID-19 outbreak.

Bucs WR Mike Evans is expected to workout his injured ankle before Thursday night's game against the Bears.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said there's "optimism" Evans can suit up against Chicago but "the workout is key." Evans, listed as questionable, has struggled through a spate of leg injuries this season, often coming in an out of games with ankle and hamstring issues.

Washington QB Alex Smith will be the team's backup for Week 5 against the Rams.
Smith will be active for the first time since he was carted off the field in November 2018 after suffering a gruesome leg break that required 17 surgeries to repair the bones and clean out a persistent infection. His harrowing recovery now puts Smith one snap away from live game action. The Football Team tabbed Kyle Allen as this week's starter, benching Dwayne Haskins as a lackluster four-game stretch.

Jets RB Le'Veon Bell (hamstring) is practicing this week and could be activated for Sunday's game against Arizona.
Bell, who was placed on injured reserve in mid-September, looks set to return as the starting running back for the woeful Jets. "I think he feels better even than he did for that first game," head coach Adam Gase said.

Falcons WR Julio Jones (hamstring) will do individual drills Thursday.
Falcons head coach Dan Quinn confirmed Jones would so "off the field, individual stuff" at Thursday's practice. He left Monday's game against the Packers with an aggravation of his lingering hamstring injury. Quinn said he would have a better idea of Jones' Week 5 availability on Friday.

          Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) practiced Thursday.
That makes two straight practices for Jimmy G, who suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 2 against the Jets. ESPN's Nick Wagoner said in a tweet that Garoppolo "seemed to be moving around well during individual drills" during Thursday's practice.

49ers RB Raheem Mostert (knee) practiced Thursday.
Mostert on Wednesday practiced for the first time since he injured his MCL in Week 2. He's set to take over early-down rushing duties for the Niners upon his return.

CBS' Jason La Canfora reports the Ravens are "taking precaution" with Lamar Jackson (knee) after he missed Wednesday and Thursday's practices, but that he is "expected to play this weekend."
We still don't even known when Jackson got injured. The "precaution" angle makes sense, but a quarterback missing back-to-back practices and then still playing is not the norm. It is far from unheard of, but Jackson is officially questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Falcons WR Calvin Ridley (thigh/knee) was limited at Thursday's practice.
Over the past ten days, Ridley has been listed with injuries to his hamstring, knee, calf, ankle, and now his thigh. Long story short: he's banged up.

Falcons WR Julio Jones (hamstring) did not practice Thursday.
While head coach Dan Quinn said Jones would do "off the field, individual stuff" at Thursday's practice, he was listed as a DNP. It would be an upset if Jones were able to suit up this week against Carolina.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Sunday's game between the Bills and Titans is being moved to 6PM ET Tuesday.
That, of course, is "as long as there are no more positive tests with Tennessee." The Titans have so far proven incapable of that. We certainly wouldn't consider it a given that the game happens.

NBC Denver's Mike Klis reports Sunday's Patriots/Broncos game is moving moved to Monday evening.
Per Klis, it will be an "early Monday night game." That presumably means 7:05 PM ET like last Monday's Patriots/Chiefs tilt.

The Bills and Chiefs' Week 6 Thursday Night Football game will be moved to Sunday October 18.
That is because the Bills' Week 5 Sunday game against the Titans is being moved to Tuesday 10/13. In theory, it's not a big deal for the Bills since they were already planning for a short-week Week 6 tilt, but the Chiefs now get a full week of rest

Lamar Jackson (knee, illness) returned to practice Friday.

Alshon Jeffery (illness) is out for Week 5 against the Steelers.

The Patriots reported no new positive COVID-19 tests on Friday.
The Patriots and Broncos are on track for their Monday night kickoff, as long as everything holds steady in New England. The Patriots will be without Cam Newton and Stephon Gilmore for that one, as both have tested positive in recent days/weeks.
