  • Fantasy Football Week 8. News and Discussion

Golden Tate (shoulder) is practicing Wednesday.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported after the Week 6 game against the Saints, ahead of last week's bye, that Tate would be sidelined a "few weeks" with a sprained AC joint. That could still be the case, but it certainly qualified as a surprise to see Tate on the practice field Wednesday days after having his shoulder in a sling over the weekend.

I think that's about as close as it gets. I'd say go with your gut come Sunday. Maybe slight lean towards Ryan because Jets will probably score more points than Colts.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Seahawks have "had talks" about moving Jimmy Graham before Tuesday's trade deadline.
Graham is in the last year of a four-year, $40 million contract and the Seahawks would be wise to get something for him before he inevitably leaves in free agency. More specifically, Seattle is looking to upgrade its offensive line. The Seahawks are known to be interested in Texans LT Duane Brown, who will make his season debut at Seattle on Sunday.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Danny Amendola (questionable, knee) will be a game-time decision for Week 8 against the Chargers, though there's "confidence" he'll play.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Golden Tate (questionable, shoulder) "plans to play" Week 8 against the Steelers.
Tate should be a go after getting in a limited week of practice. He also had the bye week to heal his ailing shoulder. It's not a perfect matchup by any means, but Tate remains the safest fantasy bet among Lions pass-catchers
