  • Fantasy Football Week 4

Ryan Mathews played just 8-of-65 snaps Week 3 against the Steelers.
That was less than Darren Sproles (24), Wendell Smallwood (24), and Kenjon Barner (12). Mathews has not been listed on the injury report, but he was clearly well below 100 percent. He will try to heal up over the bye week.

    Le'Veon Bell's three-game suspension has ended.
Bell will rejoin the team this week and should start on Sunday night against the Chiefs

Pro Football Talk reports Cam Newton (ankle) "feels good" and is "ready to go."
Newton appeared to tweak his ankle in the Week 3 loss to the Vikings, but it does not look like it will be a concern moving forward.

Dez Bryant will undergo an MRI on his knee Monday.
Bryant scored in the fourth quarter of Sunday evening's Bears shellacking, but evidently tweaked something. X-rays came back negative, but the Cowboys were compelled to do further testing.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Thomas Rawls (fibula) will miss multiple weeks.
Carroll said Rawls' injury is "a little worse than we thought." NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Rawls has a hairline fracture. After taking a shockingly long time to recover from the ankle injury which ended his 2015 campaign, it is not a given Rawls will return anytime soon. Christine Michael is locked in as the No. 1 back in Seattle.

Eagles coach Doug Pederson said the team will continue to use a backfield rotation even when Ryan Mathews (ankle) is healthy.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Jeremy Langford has been diagnosed with a sprained ankle.
There were worries Langford could be dealing with an Achilles' issue after he was carted off Sunday evening, but he's dealing with merely a sprain. It's still likely of the "high" variety, and to cost Langford multiple games.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says it is a "long-shot" Dez Bryant (knee) plays this week.
Rapoport reports the Cowboys hope Bryant can play this week, but they are "aware" he could be looking at a "three-week injury."

Julius Thomas (elbow) is inactive for Week 4 against the Colts in London.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Dez Bryant's knee injury is a "bone bruise."
While the bruise will likely sideline Bryant for Week 4, it doesn't appear to be anything serious.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Terrance West is expected to start Week 4.
Coach John Harbaugh said he was considering changes in the backfield earlier this week, and this was the most likely move. Justin Forsett should still have a role in a pass-first offense, but that role could quickly disappear once rookie Kenneth Dixon returns from his knee injury next week.
