Best of luck today guys.
Well ESPN just reported that they're gonna do a story on Marshall's QB... and that good players like Walter Payton and Jerry Rice have come from FCS schools, maybe Cato will too. First off Marshall finally got back to Division 1-A (now called FBS) in the late 90's. It was a big deal to the team, to the fans and the State of WV when Marshall finally made it back to Division 1-A after 25+ years after the whole team died in a plane crash. It was a long, hard road in MANY ways for many people over generations. So ESPN and their scripted BS are calling Marshall an FCS (I-AA) school still and I think it's purposeful. I think they don't want little old Marshall screwing up their ratings (potentially) in a New Year's day bowl if they go undefeated. So why not tell the public and the Voter's that Marshall is an "FCS school" and on a "different level" than the rest of the FBS schools. Fuck ESPN. Next they'll probably say the school is in Huntington, Virginia too.
