took a look at a list of opt outs for the bowls the other day. seems like some of these teams may have to hold open try outs on game day to fill a roster. One wayto stop the madness would be to close the transfer portal and make the date to declare for the NFL after the bowls have been played. one reason given for florida St being left out was the loss of the starting qb."they're not the team they were". Well neither are most of the current bowl teams. Every year Isee the early bowls have empty stadiums. Why bother with what amounts to a scrimmage. with the exception of the Big games. too many bowls, the only ones who benefit are the books, not the players teams or college football
