makes sense
it took a lot of time
maybe i'll feel like doing it again
Sorry you feel the way you do.
I sent you a pm explaining myself in detail.
Here is the bottom line.
Hosting the old content for a closed site is = To hosting it for a year like it is now.
Had I paid to store everything. There would have been no money to bring the site back.
That's a fact.
must be a mis-understanding here.
i said it "makes sense" that you wouldn't pay for it.
i don't know what you thought i meant.
i then said, "it took a lot of time" referring to my going back and researching all the systems.
"maybe i'll feel like doing it again" is self explanatory.
i hope i have time to do it again.
my words were positive not negative.
1. bowl favorites 1-3 points: was 34-21. it has gone 22-18 the last 3 years
2. bowl dogs 7-13 points : was 57-24. it has gone 12-21 last 3 years
3. dog with worse season record: was 38-12; it has gone 21- 30 last 3 years
4. fav with worse season record $ line; was 19-6; it has gone 12- 6 last 3 years
5. lower ranked team: was 18-6; it has gone 10-15 last 3 years
6. non ranked team vs. ranked team, was 13-7, it has gone 8-12 the last 3 years
I'm pretty much going to follow the same formula as I did last year. ( 2007 ) We had an outstanding bowl season with the running dogs. The better running teams OVERALL in general were 22-10 SU and 23-9 ATS last year. But keep in mind that they aren't going to hit this well every year. In the 2006 bowl season the better running teams were 20-12 SU but only 18-14 ATS. So we have to be careful as we go, and to just remember that none of these Running Dogs are set in granite. The underdogs who had the better run numbers were 10-4 ATS last year. And 7-3 (71%) the season before. So that's why you really need to think hard before you go against a running dog
I did a lot of research on the rushing yards per team in D-1 football this year. What does the so called "system" looking for ?
A. THE MOST AVERAGE RUSHING YARDS PER GAME, VS THEIR OPPONENTS AVERAGE RUSHING YARDS PER GAME ?
Here's a quick example of the first game I did : ( don't wanna put two hours into this and it's NOT what the system is looking for, or what has been used in previous years.
COLORADO ST = 208.7
WASHINGTON ST = 58.7
( those numbers above reflect those teams "AVERAGE RUSHING YARDS PER GAME" ).
*** CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME IF THIS IS WHAT THE SYSTEM CALLS FOR, OR IS IT SOMETHING ELSE I SHOULD BE LOOKING FOR ? ***
I WILL DO EVERY SINGLE BOWL GAME OF THE 2013-2014 SEASON, AS LONG AS I CAN GET CONFIRMATION THAT WHAT I HAVE ABOVE IS CORRECT...... I WILL I COULD GET A HOLD OF "GOLDENGREEK", THAT GUY WAS ABSOLUTELY A GEM, HE KNEW THESE SYSTEMS INSIDE AND OUT. NOT SAYING BY ANY STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION THAT HE "NEVER LOST", JUST MENTIONING THAT THE GUY WAS RAZOR SHARP WITH KNOWING THESE BOWL SYSTEM PLAYS INSIDE AND OUT.
I MISS BY BIG BROTHER "D".... Anyone ever talk to him, please tell him PLAYBOY was asking for him. Knows me well.
We need somebody who has the time to type out each system and what to look for.
If somebody does that I will create a page to put all the systems on.
Then people will only have to click on a link to find them.
Having it's own page will also allow us to archive the results
USC was the favorite so they did not qualify as a "running DOG"
Jumper,
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the system was simple, WHOEVER WAS THE BETTER RUSHING TEAM, WAS THE PLAY.... If it was an underdog, it became stronger... but they could be favorites too, correct ? PLEASE LET ME KNOW BEFORE I CONTINUE WITH THE REST OF THE GAMES.
There's a hint in the title of the system. Running DOGS. So I don't think a fav works in this system. I kinda remember a different system that was bet the better rushing team as dog or fav. Hope that helps.
Money won is twice as nice as money earned

That is correct, the title of the system is "Running Dogs" for a reason.
"The sheer unpredictability of sports is what makes it predictable." Who the hell bets units? I bet money...
Most of the posted plays are WRONG. The following teams are favs BG, ND, Marsh,Ore,KSt,Minn, Navy. The play must be a dog.
Good thing Playboy asked. He had asked me before and I wasn't sure.
Hopefully we can get these all ironed out for next year and archive them on their own page
