$400 Oregon Team Total under 41 No Boykin or Doctson so TCU has to have a plan to keep this close. Patterson is a GREAT head coach and his players love him. They will bring a MAX effort here today, and that has to include slowing down the Oregon offense enough so that their team has a chance today. They played mighty Oklahoma without both stars and held the Sooners to just 30 points in a 1 point loss. I expect a similarly passionate defensive effort here today and would not be surprised if TCU hung around all day with a chance to win at the end. In my opinion the team total is the smartest bet to attack this game with, because even if the TCU offense has problems I think the D will show up today and keep Oregon close. PUSH

National Championship Game
$400 1st Half under 25.5 LOSER (-440)
$400 Clemson +7 (-125) Still waiting and hoping the line goes closer to a flat 7 so I can buy it to 7.5. Line currently sits at +7 (-125) at my book so +7.5 would cost -145. If I can get -135 or better I will grab that. The 1st half under is currently 25.5 and if the game total goes up a bit it should be 26 or even 26.5 I will gladly take either of those. I don't expect either line will move the other way so I am doing the waiting game right now. The reason for the under 1st half only is because in these "Championship type" games both teams tend to come out a bit "tight" and play calling early in them is generally more conservative. Neither team wants to make a big mistake early that could cost them a championship. Alabama in particular gets its offense rolling better the deeper in to the game. They generally are like a snowball rolling downhill, they are harder to stop the deeper into the game. $WINNER$ (+400)
