This game reminds me of the 1976 NCAA Final Four game between Rutgers and Michigan.
Rutgers was undefeated heading into the game, but had played a relatively weak schedule, including beating UConn (before the Jim Calhoun UConn) and VMI to get to the final four. Michigan had played a big-time schedule, and was just a superior team.
They wiped out Rutgers, and it was embarrassing.
Tonight's ND/Temple game has that same feel. The Owls have played a weak schedule, and simply do not have the talent to stay with the Irish. Emotion (and the Philly crowd will be nuts) works for about 10 minutes, and then reality sets in. This game has 38-14 written all over it.
Give me Notre Dame +10.5.
