Being a big Husker supporter will try and give you some pertinent info if you wish to partake in a small wager on this game. Will look at this in the perspective of Nebraska being victorious.
1. Nebraska's defense. Their rushing defense will hold up, but they must neutralize their passing game, especially Tony Lippit ( 22 catches, 19 yds per catch ). Next highest receiver has 6 catches.
2. Keep the offense simple. Do what you do best, running the football. If Abdullah can get to the 150 yards this will be a great start. Westercamp and Bell are capable recievers that can make the big play if State keeps 8 in the box.
3.Nebraska must be mindful of Michigan State's defensive ends, especially Calhoun. First team all Big Ten will look to put pressure on Armstrong. Fumbles would kill Nebraska in that regard. Might be some incentive for Husker's DE Gregory to show off for a national TV audience.
I probably will not bet the game, but might look to the over 59 points as I see this a 35-30 game with the Big Red hopefully on top.
