  • Where to find teams playing off long layoff?

interesting about layoffs is that i read in college hoops this year is that teams with a 14 day pause are avg 0.5 less to the spread but 21 days jumps to 2.3 points worse, 28 days is 4.0 points worse. but with sportsdatabase not covering cbb I don't have an easy way to find teams playing off 21+ layoff.

anyone know a site showing days between last game and today?

I use Statfox. Under college BB in the drop down is game match up, in the matchup is a limited schedule. For a specific game CBS or ESPN has every teams schedule.

pointwise does not have all 300+ teams but here's results from the ones they show

Quinnipiac, Providence, and Delaware would be the play-on teams today if those games are on

Boston College off since Jan 16 (not playing today, next FSU 2/2)
Elon off since Jan 3 (today at Delaware)
Cincy off since Jan 9 (not playing today, next Temple 2/4)
Georgetown off since Jan 9 (today vs Providence)
Nebraska off since Jan 10 (not playing today, next Mich St 2/6)
No Illinois off since Jan 16 (not playing today, next CMU 2/6)
Canisius off since Jan 2 (today vs Quinnipiac)
Old Dominion off since Jan 16 (not playing today, next Marshall 2/5)
So Florida off since Jan 9 (not playing today, next Houston 2/10)

wow, flipping through these games i see Michigan State had 20 days between games then came back to score 37 in a 67-37 loss to Rutgers the other night

a couple others with 15-20 days off:
Florida A&M off since Jan 10 (today at NCAT but NCAT only 1 game since Jan 3 and off since Jan 16)
Bryant off since Jan 15 (today vs FDU)

these went 3-1 ATS on Saturday with A&T, FDU, and Delaware covering but Providence losing outright

FSU -13.5 and 1H -7 are plays tomorrow vs BC who are down to just 4 scholarship players and 4 walk-ons who have played a total of 15 minutes this year. Only 3 of their starting 5 are normal players. The other two have played a combined 60 minutes this season and then the bench is all scout team players
