$400 Providence +2 I bumped this to 400 from the 300 I was going to originally based on the Pac-12 losses by Cal and Utah last night. I consider USC similar in ability to those teams. USC actually lost their only game to each of those other 2 teams. Looking at USC's wins it appears the committee gave them a ton of credit for beating UCLA cause the rest of the teams they beat in the Pac-12 were crap teams. Matter of fact since they beat UCLA back in January their only conf. wins were 3 W's against Washington (9-22, 2-16 in conf.), 2 wins against Wash. St. (13-18, 6-12 in conf.), and a win against Oregon St. (5-27, 1-16 in conf.) They are easily the team that should have been left out instead of Syracuse. Providence played great against teams with winning records going 17-5 ATS this year with SU wins against Creighton, Marquette, Butler and Xavier just in the last 4 weeks. They also beat Vermont and Rhode Island in their non-conf. Why USC is favored I really have no clue, but obviously the linesmakers knew what they were doing because there is very even action on the game tonight. LOSER (-440)
