Went up to the track Friday for the Oaks, Tom. Had a 19-1 winner as soon as I walked in after treating myself to a lobster roll and fries at an ice cream stand about a mile past the track. Then I had a 42-1 horse under a 2-1 favorite for a 205.00 exacta. After buying beers for the guys (twice), the lobster roll, I drove home with about $120.00. Believe me - that's a good day. Especially because I get to add in a lot of bad jokes with my track buddies. Lotsa laughs. On Saturday I did not collect on the Derby. That's OK. Friday was my Derby Day 'cause I had to go to a yard party for my nephew's two little boys (5 and 2). There were thirty kids there and their parents. I remembered how old I was!
