Yeah Tom, Jeff Lynne was a very prolific songwriter. Wrote all of the ELO songs ( other than Roll over Beethoven )
I read that he would write 3 or 4 songs in a weekend. Neil Young was similar in that regard. Writing a lot of songs in a very short period of time.

One song of his that I really like that is very unique and creative is "Livin Thing".
