Thomas, I believe once the provinces out west bring online sportsbooks on board you'll see the same as Ontario's lead. The switch from the international site was smooth. They transferred my balance seamlessly. I tried using the international site when I was in Vegas in late September. The US service site my Rogers roaming account was connected to barred me from connecting because I was in the US. I forgot to try my proxy data service to get around that. Many people in the US use a ghost ip address to still bet online.
We have a multitude of major and other books but they all fall under the Gaming Ontario regulations. Bet MGM, Caesars, The Score Bet, 888, Coolbet, Fan Duel, Draft Kings, Bet 365 are among many, and now even SIA who are now operating along with 5Dimes & William Hill that are coming pending approval have switched, but the new Location app which all of the books must use, that runs in the background on your phone, tablet or computer is based on a geographical location id. It runs every time I connect to any and all of them.
I also spoke with Jay Kornegay at the Westgate Superbook in Vegas and also a manager at Circa; they are both strongly considering getting into the Ontario market as well. Would absolutely love to see the Superbook at the Niagara Falls Casino.
