    NFL Draft Fast Facts
With Round One of the 2022 NFL Draft in the history books, here are a few fast facts to chew on between now and Friday night's Rounds Two and Three...

Biggest player in the draft – Daniel Faalele, Minnesota, OT, 6-foot-8, 390 pounds

Smallest player the draft– Kashon Baker, NC A&T, RB, 5-foot-5 1/2, 172 pounds

8 teams with no picks in the first round – most ever NFL history

    • 262 picks in the draft.- First-ever draft in 1936 featured 81 picks (9 rounds for 9 teams, from a pool of 90 players).

    • Philadelphia Eagles responsible for the draft. As the NFL expanded in the 1930s, Eagles co-owner Bert Bell raised a significant problem with the other owners: His team didn't have the money to compete for the best players. He proposed a draft system that would help level that playing field, and it was adopted.

    Remember This
It's the consensus opinion of most that top of this year's draft was weaker than usual, with Axios Sports reporting one exec telling ESPN the first 10 players last year would likely all go No. 1 this year.

But thanks to players using their extra year of COVID eligibility, the 2022 class is very deep.

Keep this in mind when next year's draft reconvenes in Kansas City.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are 7-19 SU and 8-19 ATS in the postseason dating back to 2015, including 3-14 SUATS when coming off a loss.

With the Memphis Grizzlies 17-7 SUATS in their series against Minnesota, and the Timberwolves just 3-9 ATS at home between the two's (+2 to -2), look for the Grizz to wrap up this series this evening.
