    Ohtani Rule
MLB and the MLBPA have tentatively agreed to some rule tweaks ahead of the 2022 season, including a so-called "Ohtani Rule."

How it works: If a starting pitcher is also hitting in the lineup, that player can remain as the DH even if he is pulled from the start.

In other words: No matter how many innings Shohei Ohtani pitches, he can hit through the entire game.

Under previous rules, the Angels would move Ohtani to the outfield if they wanted to keep him in the lineup after his start. But that resulted in the team losing its DH and the pitcher having to bat.
    Grinding Out The Profits
    They Refused to Die
The Detroit Pistons will close out the 2021-22 campaign with only one winning season in the past 13 years.

They started this season 12-45. To their credit they did not roll over and die. Instead, they enter their final game of the campaign 11-13 SU and 18-4-2 ATS in their last two-dozen contests – including 10-0-1 ATS away.

They are also 8-1 ATS in season finales, while Philadelphia stands 0-4 SUATS in final games when playing with revenge against losing foes.

Meanwhile, the 76ers have been in a trance since the first of March, going 12-8 SU and 5-15 ATS heading their last 20 contests.

RIP Philly. It's Detroit who refuses to die.
