    WHAT'S BREWING TODAY
    Thursday, April 7

    On Today's Scorecard
    The Future Is Now

Opening Day of the 2022 MLB season beings today. And with it here is a sneak preview into various future bets to consider, with the odds for each courtesy of BetMGM.

American League MVP: Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Blue Jays (+500) ... After Vlad Jr. broke out with a Major League-leading 48 home runs and runner-up MVP finish in 2021, the 23-year-old slugger could be a good bet to win the award this year at 5-to-1 odds.

American League MVP Longshot: Wander Franco, rays (+2000) ... the 21-year-old Franco was a Rookie of the Year finalist for the AL East champion Rays last season and Bettor's Eye Keith Izzary says, "Franco was a wunderkind last year. I think that now he takes another step forward, and the odds are sweet for him."

American League Cy Young: Jose Berrios, Blue Jays (+2000) ... Berr

Can't get anything to paste for some reason so I'll leave the NBA thing here

    Grinding Out The Profits
    Golden Payback
From week's Victor King's NBA Day to Day Trends in thePLAYBOOK NBA Newsletter: Golden State is 6-1-1 ATS when playing with three days of rest.

On the flip side, the Lakers are 2-8 ATS on Thursdays as well as 5-11 SUATS this season against foes with same-season revenge from a loss of 10 or fewer points.

With the Beach Boys having just been eliminated from the NBA postseason, look for Dub City to avenge a 124-116 loss as 6.5-point road chalk at Los Angeles a month ago here tonight.
