    WHAT'S BREWING TODAY
    Tuesday, March 29
    On Today's Scorecard
    History In The Making
The USA TODAY reports that when the dust settled, it was a quartet of the biggest names in college basketball left standing in what could be considered one of the greatest Final Four lineups.

North Carolina added to its record of Final Four appearances with its 21st. Duke will be there for the 17th time and Kansas for the 16th. Villanova with six is the least-regarded program of the bunch but the Wildcats have won two of the past five national titles.

The 60 combined appearances betters the previous record of 50 set in the 2008 Final Four. The programs have combined for 17 national titles. North Carolina leads with six, Duke has five and Kansas and Villanova each have three.

There has never been a national semifinals where each of the four programs entered with at least three championships.
