    On Today's Scorecard
    Not So Big
The scene shifts from Nashville last year to Tampa this year. To say last year's SEC tourney was bizarre would be an understatement as for the first time since 1988-89 – and just the second time in SEC history dating back to 1932-33 – KENTUCKYentered the tourney with a losing record. It's our opinion, with a monster chip on their shoulder this year, that they are indeed the team to beat. John Calipari's cats are 20-2 this season against sub .750 opponents. They are also 48-24-2 ATS in this tournament in all games dating back to 1992, including 15-3 SU and 13-5 ATS since 2014.

AUBURN is the No.1 seed and has been riding No. 1 and No. 2 in the polls all season. Our concern, though, is the Tigers were 16-0 SU and 13-2-1 ATS at home this season but suffered all four of their losses this season away from Auburn Arena. They are 7-15-2 ATS in this tourney when coming off a SUATS wins, and stand 0-5 SU in head-to-head games against Kentucky. And Bruce Pearl takes a huge back set to Calipari when it comes to X's and O's...

ARKANSAS closed like a runaway train, going 14-2 SU and 13-2-1 ATS down the stretch at press time. The simple fact of the matter is its "Eric Musselman time", as he brings a 16-5 SU and 12-6-2 ATS in the postseason versus sub .666 foes into this event. You won't find us fading him anytime soon.

Calvin Ridley got caught gambling on the NFL after he placed three legal bets in Florida with the Hard Rock on their sportsbook app. Ironically, the app launched on November 1 and was shut down on Dec 5 by the state of Florida. He made his plays in between the start and stop dates.

He bet $1500 and lost $10 million. Those are the worst odds in gambling history.

    The Heat Is On
The Heat have had this game circled ever since the Cavs clocked them in Cleveland, 105-94, in mid-December. That was on the heels of a 111-85 crush job by the Cavs over the Heat on this floor on December 1.

With it, these are the sort of games Erik Spoelstra lives for. Miami's maestro is 99-79-1 ATS at home with same season revenge, including 92-25-1 ATS in those games he wins

And then there is Cleveland. Even after the two wins this season, the Cavs check in just 4-11 SUATS in this series, including 1-7 ATS in Miami. You know the deal.

The cle/mia game he speaks of above is Friday March 11
