    Review Preview
Each year at this time our NBA guru from Canada, James Mallin, shares a complete in-depth review of what's happened and what will likely happen this 2021-22 NBA season. Here are a few morels from this juicy account from this season...

    Heat 38-21
Past: Miami has done well considering all their injuries, their top group hasn't played much together.

Future: Should be even better, and Oladipo is ramping up bball activities, he's the X factor. If they get the best version of him watch out… if he's only 2/3 of that he'll still be an important contributor. Rotation: Bam, PJ, Jimmy, Kyle, Duncan Robinson; Dedmon, Herro, Strus, Gabe Vincent; Markieff Morris*, Oladipo*, Martin* [*injured].

    Suns: 48-10
Past: No surprise these guys picked up where they left off, they were the best team in the playoffs last year and would have won it all had the refs not let PJ Tucker foul Booker on every possession. Heading into the break on an 18-1 streak. Not a typo.

Future: Announced at ASG - after he made a cameo appearance in the 1st Q - that CP has an avulsion in his shooting hand and will be out 6-8 weeks; for those of you keeping track, there are 7 weeks remaining in the regular season. So there has to be some drop-off, it's just a question of how much? Big chance for Elfrid Payton and Aaron Holiday to prove their ability to run the show for a top team going for top seed overall in the playoffs. Rotation: Ayton, Crowder, Bridges, Booker, CP*, Payne*, Elfrid Payton, McGee, Torrey Craig, Johnson, Holiday; Biyombo [*injured ].

    Never Say Never
The big question at hand for the Packers this football season is what will they do if Aaron Rodgers decides he still wants to play in 2022 but not for Green Bay?

It has been widely believed that Rodgers and the Packers had a handshake agreement that if the reigning MVP still wanted out after the 2021 season they would trade him.

"That was not something I told him," said general manager Brian Gutekunst. He never promised Rodgers he would trade him after the 2021 season.

Gutekunst said he is not tempted to take a haul of draft picks for Rodgers and/or receiver Davanta Adams who is scheduled to become a free agent next month.

"Because I think we've got as good a shot as anybody to win a Super Bowl next year," Gutekunst said when asked why he wouldn't want to trade Rodgers. "He's the MVP of the league. That's our goal. I think we have an opportunity to do it right now. That's why."
