Re: In The Dugout for Thursday. 4/10

Josh Willingham (wrist) is out of the Twins' starting lineup again on Thursday against the A's.

Denard Span is not in the Nationals' lineup Thursday.
Nate McLouth will lead off and play center field in Washington's series-finale against the Marlins

But there is strong numbers pointing towards not one...But two plays in that game.

For the umpire streak fans. Fieldin Culbreth is 2-0 under this season.
He went 18-11 under for 2013. However....
Over the last 10 games he has gone 8-0-2 Under.
I personally like the under, your info is just fuel for the fire. With the line move up I was able to buy it up to U 8.5 (-125) making 8 a winner. Very doable.

I think we use the same book. Got it as well at -125 for 8.5

Re: In The Dugout for Thursday. 4/10

          A picture is worth a 1000 words

You get a bunch of them when googling tonights Umpire for Arizona at San Francisco.

Not sure it has anything to do with the game. But this pic was also in the results

          Anyways.
A lot of people will be on the over in this game. When you look at the pitchers body of work in recent outings I get that.
Heck there is a write up above that suggest the pressure that Delgado is under spells over.
This is why I could never sell plays. Even when I like something I also put up the caution flags.
Let's face it. If anything was really a lock. Then this place would be a porn site and well The Inside Slant would work again as a name.

Here is caution flag number one.
We cant pretend like only one of these pitchers has struggled. I mean on the price alone I would jump on Arizona.
But what stops me is the ump.
Over the last 4 seasons home favorites at today's price have went 12-4 with our ump.
The Giants have done well with the ump and so has their guy on the bump tonight.
Vogelsong has went 3-0 and 3-0 under with the ump.
I mentioned the other day about plays just missing and then possibly falling under a +4 system.
That system is over the course of 4 seasons is there a +4 edge. Today there is an edge of +8
Now if we had current numbers to back it. Then it would have fallen under that system.

For future reference. When you see the edge we have with the Giants today and...
Had Delgado worked with and struggled with the ump. That would have been an official play in here.
If you already like the Giants. Then you got all the numbers above working for you.

          Moving on to the total.
Culbreth our ump has been an under machine for awhile now. Going 2-0 under this year and 8-0-2 the last 10 games.
Looking a little deeper...Under is 40-13-4 in Culbreths last 57 games behind home plate !

What is stopping us from being all in ?
Again as with a side play. We don't have the numbers for Delgado with the ump.
So we drop it down to the +4 system and it fits.
Do we have numbers for this year. Yes the ump is 2-0 under.
Is there a plus 4 edge over 4 seasons. Yes the under at today's number is 17-11 under over the last 4 seasons.

There are some red flags and perception of the starting pitchers that points to the over.
But there are some very strong numbers that suggest under.
I'm no longer in the business of advertising with books.
So just from a baseball bettors perspective. 5 Dimes is a solid book for bases.
Like Jumper mentioned you can get under 8.5 at -125.
The 17-11 number in favor of the under was based on the opening line of 7.5
