    Tasty Hour Dourves
Don't make a move this football season until you read the 26 amazing facts from the 1,574 regular-season games that will ultimately define the season – a tasty appetizer for a 13-week meal that will leave us all patting our collective bellies... such as:

    • MICHIGAN won't play a Power 5 opponent outside of Big Ten for the first time in 78 years.
The Wolverines' non-conference schedule consists of consecutive home games vs. Colorado State, Hawaii, and UConn, making it the first time since 1944 that they've failed to schedule an opponent that is currently a Power 5 member (or Notre Dame) outside of Big Ten action.

    • MISSISSIPPI STATE is the only team scheduled to play SIX members of the preseason AP Top 25.
The Bulldogs add games vs. (19) Arkansas, at (20) Kentucky, and at (21) Ole Miss to their contests at (1) Alabama and vs. (3) Georgia and (6) Texas A&M giving them the MOST preseason ranked opponents in the nation. It amounts to MSU playing a full half of their schedule against Top 25 foes.

    • FIVE teams will play EIGHT games at home.
While the lions' share of the FBS is set to play six or seven home games this season, these clubs will host eight – or 66 percent – of their opponents at home. It also means these lucky winners have just four true road trips booked. They include: AUBURN, KENTUCKY, MICHIGAN, OHIO STATE, and UCLA.

    A Double Fleecing
When Virginia Tech was stunned for the 2nd time in 4 years by Old Dominion this past week, the Hookies were fleeced in more ways than one.

ESPN reports after Tech lost, 2017, in Brent Pry's debut as head coach, players returned to the visiting locker room to find items were stolen from their lockers during the game.

The Hokies' trip to Old Dominion was a comedy of errors. ODU took a 10-7 lead into the half, and Virginia Tech's coaches were delayed in returning for the second half after being trapped in a malfunctioning elevator.

Virginia Tech outgained Old Dominion by 95 yards and had 20 first downs to ODU's 13, but five Hokies turnovers led to the upset win for the Monarchs.

    Train Wreck
Clemson is 32-2 SU and 67-47-3 ATS in ACC games under Dabo Swinney, including 8-0 SU and 6-1-1 ATS as a double-digit favorite versus Georgia Tech.

The Tigers have also 10+ games each of the last 11 seasons, second only to Alabama.

After being tripped up as a favorite against Georgia in their season opener last year, look a train wreck by the Ramblin' Wreck today.
