As we continue with our tour of NFL training camps this week, NFL Nation takes a look inside the AFC South where they predict that Third-round pick Bernhard Raimann from Central Michigan will emerge as the starter at left tackle. It's hardly a guarantee, but that's why this is considered a bold take. Though it's a big ask for a rookie to start at such a critical spot, Raimann has the best combination of skills and size of the candidates to take on this role. Raimann, 6-foot-6 and 303 pounds. In addition, the Colts' defense can be really special this season. New DC Gus Bradley thrived with the "Legion of Doom" defense in Seattle, and the same scheme finally ked the Raiders to the playoffs last season. To no one's surprise, Alabama was voted No. 1 in the preseason USA TODAY Coaches' poll released Monday, with Ohio State second and defending national champion Georgia third. The AP preseason Top 25 will be released Aug. 15. The Crimson Tide received 54 first-place votes from a panel of 66 major college football coaches. Alabama is coming off a loss in the College Football Playoff title game to Georgia. The Buckeyes received five first-place votes and the Bulldogs got six. No. 18 Texas also received a first-place vote. Clemson was No. 4 and Notre Dame was No. 5. Michigan, coming off its first CFP appearance, was sixth, followed by Texas A&M, Utah, Oklahoma, and Baylor.

Grinding Out The Profits Something's Gotta Give

Hmm. Texas pitcherMartin Perez is 10-0 away in his starts this season, but 0-6 in his last six starts in August. Given the fact that the Astros have held Rangers hostage at home of late, going 25-3 in the last 28 meeting between these two in-state rivals, and Jose Urquidy is 5-1 in his career starts in this series - including 3-0 at home - look for the latter to hold serve in Perez's performance tonight.
