    AFC Spotlight Team
The 2022-23 NFL season will be here before you know it. With it, Playbook ExpertJeff Hochmanshares his AFC Spotlight team for the 2022 season
    – the Pittsburgh Steelers.

His projections/models average 9.2 wins! He is way higher on the Steelers than Las Vegas.

The Steelers are coming off an up-and-down season, where they made the playoffs after having to win their final two games. There were many issues with this team last year, including ranking dead last in rushing yards allowed per game (146.1). You just know Mike Tomlin and company won't accept having the worst run defense two years in a row. They hired Teryl Austin as defensive coordinator. He's very familiar with the Steelers, having been with the team since 2019 and has 18 years of coaching experience.

Remember, the Steelers went 0-2 against the Cincinnati Bengals and 4-0 vs. the rest of the division.

With it, Jeff reminds us: the big difference between professionals and the public is simple. Professional bettors bet numbers, while the public bets on teams.

    Big Pat On The Back
Axios Sports reports there has only been one MLB player to produce seven straight seasons with a .300 BA, 20 HR, 100 RBI, 100 runs and 100 walks.

If you said 'The Big Hurt' –Frank Thomas – give yourself a pat on the back.

    Cole Play
You can call New York Yankees hurler Gerrit Cole a night owl, having cashed in 67 of his last 93 team-starts under the lights.

He is also 18-6 overall in his last 24 team-starts in July, as well as 7-1 in his last 8 away team-starts.

With the Pinstripes 9-3 on Thursdays, and Boston 9-17 in division games this season, expect tomorrow's headline to read: ColePlay "Clocks" the Sox. (Sorry about that).
