    Coast To Coast
Can you believe it? Just when it seemed USC had finally found a Pac-12 commissioner, George Kliavkoff, who was fully invested in the Trojans' success on the football field, and just when USC's odds of playing in the Pac-12 Championship Game had improved dramatically with the hire of former Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley, the school might be packing its bags for another conference.

USC and UCLA are flagship members of the Pac-12, which has existed for more than a century in various iterations. USC joined the old Pacific Coast Conference in 1921, with UCLA joining up in 1928.

The "new" Big Ten would also continue to challenge the SEC for college football supremacy. Last summer, it was announced that Texas and Oklahoma — the two most high-profile members of the Big 12 — would join the SEC by 2025 if not earlier.

By the way, The Big Ten has been negotiating a new deal that could be worth $1 billion annually. Yeah, it's all about the Benjamin's. For moreclick here.

You're on the eve of the biggest payday of your life, about to sign a mega contract for hundreds of millions of dollars as an NBA free agent, and what do you do?

    Get yourself arrested, of course.

Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridgesaveraged career highs with 20.2 points and 7.0 rebounds last season in what amounted to a breakout season for the four-year NBA veteran last season.

Bridges was booked on a felony domestic violence warrant yesterday.

It's like we say, sometimes they just can't help themselves.
