  • Alex Rodriguez gets 162 game suspension

Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports that arbitrator Fredric Horowitz has ruled that Alex Rodriguez receive a 162-game suspension.
If upheld, that would mean the aging superstar will sit out the entirety of the 2014 regular season. It's a slight win for Rodriguez who was initially handed a 211-game ban, though it's still significantly longer than he was hoping for. He has already announced that he plans to file a lawsuit in federal court over the ruling.

When Mo retired I thought the Yankees would struggle with saves.
Season hasn't even started and they got one big save in the books....
They just saved 25 million bucks
