Matt Scherzer did not pitch very well in Game #1. His control and command was bad even though he got the win.
Now he is asked to pitch Game #7 even though he could not raise his arm above his head on Sunday because of neck spasms.
That doesn't bode well for Washington.
Nevertheless, I get this sneaky feeling that the Nationals are a team of destiny, and may find a way to do it once more tonight.
On the other hand, the Astros are the best team in baseball. But the fact that they let the Nats off the hook last night when they had kicked the hell out of them for three games in a row....just might come back to haunt them.
My advice for Game #7 is to just sit back and enjoy it. Don't try to figure it out.....you can't do it.
It should be quite a show!
