This is a no-brainer right? American League teams don't let pitchers hit and nobody wants to face those dreadfully scary American League offenses. That would be the common way of thinking, but early returns say otherwise. The Big Bad American League is averaging 3.92 runs/game and the National League is averaging 4.44 runs/game.
