Pedro Martinez, Randy Johnson, John Smoltz, and Craig Biggio were elected to the 2015 class of the Baseball Hall of Fame by the BBWAA.
This is the first time since 1955 that four players have been elected. Johnson, who got in with 97.3 percent of the vote, won five Cy Young Awards while compiling 303 wins to go along with a 3.29 ERA. His 10.6 K/9 is the best all-time among starters and he ranks second all-time with 4,875 strikeouts. Martinez, who received 91.1 percent of the vote, won three Cy Young Awards while posting a 2.93 ERA and 219 wins. His 10.0 K/9 is third-highest all-time while his 154 ERA+ is the best ever among starters. Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine were enshrined in Cooperstown last year and Smoltz joins them after getting 82.9 percent of the vote. Smoltz amassed 213 wins and 154 saves and has one Cy Young Award. Craig Biggio fell two votes shy last year, but he got in with 82.7 percent this year. A seven-time All-Star, Biggio posted a .281/.263/.433 lifetime batting line and 3,060 career hits over 20 seasons
