Curious to see what happens down the road with any horses that involve Bob Baffert and the owners/trainers of Shared Belief. Imagine running a race against your buddies and at the start you purposely collide with the runner next to you...and you hit that person so hard...they collide with another racer....it was like a domino effect. Factor in, that Bob Baffert also had a very questionable situation in The Awesome Again Stakes...and the victim was also Shared Belief in that race as well.
I find it funny that the stewards say that the collision at the start of the race did not have any impact on the race. A race consists of a start, a middle, and a finish. Yes, it is horse racing, and stuff like this happens...but since it involved Baffert...people are really questioning whether or not this was intentional. I wonder if Jim Rome will be politically correct or if he will be very vocal this time.
