      if any team favored by more than 225 today they will fit this long-time trend of huge favs winning on final day of season and this actually works quite well for postseason too

        Astros have won 19 straight away games with rest when 1st game of a series (including several playoff games) after scoring in at least 4 different innings on the road

          rare one but teams that limp into playoffs winning just 1 of 8 games are 0-3 in playoffs (active against ChiSox)

            Oakland a play today...

            ChiSox have lost 18 straight away vs decent home teams throwing a righty starter and Sox coming off a game they didn't score 8+ and didn't lose by multiple runs

              45-6 spot for Twins and A's today but both games are off...Oak up 2, Twins are down 1

              interesting that if you avoided games in the -146 to -169 range, like Minnesota, it jumps to 43-3 with only A's in play today (has won 24 straight)

                ATL would be a play today. playoff teams off a loss with an inordinate amount of men left on base are 0-12 in next game when not switching sites

                              Yanks have won 24 straight and are 40-2 at home off fav game allowing more than 5 runs but not striking out 16+ times or losing by 16+ runs
