| Bill Barnwell of ESPN contends that if a mock draft of picks is hard, a mock draft of trades is nearly impossible. Each year he presents an NFL Mock Draft of trades involving a swap of each of the 32 picks in the first round. It would be a surprise if even one of these deals comes to fruition over the next couple of weeks, but that's not likely to happen. With it he uses the Jimmy Johnson chart to objectively measure these deals since teams still use that as a common language. For example – he has the Detroit trading up to get Jacksonville's first pick of the draft. In return the Jaguars get the Lions No. 1 and No. 2 picks in this year's draft (#2 and #34), plus their fourth-round pick in the 2023 draft. In addition, he has the NY Giants getting Pittsburgh's first pick in the first round (#7 overall) in exchange for the Steelers first round picks this year (#20) and next year. | The Memphis Grizzlies' average age, weighted by playing time, is 24.4 years old. They're the youngest team to finish with a top-two record since minutes became official in 1951-52, according to ESPN Stats & Information research. By that measure, the Grizzlies could become the youngest team ever to make the NBA Finals, a distinction currently held by the 1976-77 Trail Blazers (24.99). |
