Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring) won't practice Thursday.
It's no surprise, as Watkins was expected to miss at least a couple weeks with his hamstring injury.

Giants WR Sterling Shepard (toe) could play Thursday night against the Eagles.
USA Today's Art Stapleton said Shepard, who was activated from injured reserve on Tuesday, should be added to the Giants' active roster in the afternoon. He would then need to complete a pregame workout and the team's medical staff would need to sign off on him suiting up against Philadelphia on Thursday night.

Bengals RB Joe Mixon (foot) did not practice Thursday.
Mixon didn't practice Wednesday either, meaning his Friday status will likely determine his availability against the Browns.

49ers RB Raheem Mostert (ankle) was placed on injured reserve.
This was expected after the team revealed Mostert suffered a high ankle sprain last week against the Rams. JaMycal Hasty and Jerick McKinnon are set to split backfield duties.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports DeSean Jackson (ankle) is expected to miss 6-8 weeks.
Jackson has a non-displaced ankle fracture. It's worse than the high-ankle sprain that was originally reported.

Jamison Crowder (groin) has been downgraded to doubtful for Week 7 against the Bills.
He looks extremely unlikely to play against Buffalo.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette's Ryan Wood reports the Packers' "plan" is for Aaron Jones (calf) to not play Week 7 against the Texans.
Per Wood, Green Bay "isn't expected to push" Jones despite his own confidence in his ability to play through the injury.

Tre'Quan Smith will be the Saints' No. 1 receiver for Week 7 against the Panthers.
With Michael Thomas (hamstring) inactive and Emmanuel Sanders on the COVID-19 list, Smith gets a shot at top duties.
