Oh Okay Tom. It seems sort of silly at this point, but I'll go ahead.

    Denver +8.5
    over 214

    I'm annoyed with 5 Dimes.
I have the Celtics at 22 to 1 and the Heat at 25 to 1 to win it all.
And since their kicking out U.S. Customers I just get the bets refunded.

I think that sucks they won't honor those and refund them instead. Hopefully everyone gets their funds out. I got stiffed bad years ago when Betus did the same damn thing. Had 12K sitting with them and they pretty much said to F off when I tried to get it out of there.

Well obviously what happened to you is way worse. So you didn't get any of your money out?

I lucked out 20 years ago when a place called AcesGold closed up. I had been using them for about a year and I can't remember why I took my money out. I probably just found a book I liked a little better.
Anyway for the SuperBowl they had the Pats as 14 pt underdogs while everywhere else had 13.5. Then after they got pasted they just closed up the next day.

Certainly 5 dimes has been great for the past 10 years. I hope what happened to you doesn't happen to me!

                  Thanks Tom.

Yeah noone seems to know why they're doing it. There's another book called betanysports.eu that is an identical clone to 5dimes. I read somewhere that they would transfer your account to there.
But when I asket them they said they weren't doing it anymore.

So I guess it's all part of the risk. It certainly is better than it was 20 years ago.

                    I got nothing from Betus.
5 Dimes I didn't have any problems with for years. So hopefully they don't screw anyone over.
We have sports books now in the downtown Detroit casino's. One of them is going to try to get an online system up and running.
Probably just sticking with them going forward.

In Canada we've been free to bet offshore since it's inception. Back in the 90's I had an account with William Hill when they were based in England I believe and they were top notch for payouts but something happened to them I think they moved offshore for some reason. I've played at a few different places over the years that are now gone like thegreek which was 1st class and bet Jamaica, a dog book and some others. The last number of years after thegreek closed I play now only at Pinny, because they are simply the best book out there and they pay on demand which is great, and SIA which is my dog book. Both have been around forever, SIA is slower to pay out but never a problem there either.

Anybody have a good replacement for for 5 Dimes? There reduced juice was most often the best price I could find.

There menu was huge and offered IF bets and reverse bets that I haven't seen elsewhere.
