    Nice find bleeker. I commented on another good find in the service plays area that Satch found about week 1 DIV dogs, here's his post

    I am not a big trends guy, but one trend I think is applicable is divisional dogs in week 1. Teams typically aren't hitting at full stride yet early in the season, and it keeps these games between familiar opponents super close. Divisional dogs since 2014 are 21-5-1 ATS, including 4-1 last season.

    I think a guy should maybe remember this one Satch makes some good sense and it has 9 plays week one

    DIV and D and week = 1 and season,1 and season >= 2014

          actually hasn't been bad with the AFC since 2002

          no qualifiers though and with that record wouldn't be enough for me to play anyway..but nice to know there's a slant that way for the other conference also

            week 1..
            division..
            previous season 4-7 more wins than opponent..
            2009

            4-21-1 (-6.27)

            4 games in the query

            fade teams below

            chI + 1.5
            ne -6.5
            pha -6.5
            no -4

            interestingly enough the worst season for this (2-2 ats)was the only season where these teams averaged being a small dog (2011)..I think that's telling and you could make a case for that season being not considered..would bring the record of this to 2-19-1

              Here are a couple I have saved. 1st one is week 1 dogs that are coming off a bad season (6 wins or less), a few line restrictions to eliminate large lines... ATS: 84-46-6 (2.40, 64.6%)

              https://killersports.com/nfl/query?s...+S+D+Q+L+%21++

              Next one is for the 1st 4 weeks of the season. Fading favorites with limited season win totals vs. teams with similar season win totals. This system is coming off a very good year as well, fade was 11-3.
