Western Michigan vs Eastern Michigan
- Eastern Michigan has to be feeling beaten up because they cannot run the ball and cannot stop the run so defense is always on field. They are also playing off a triple overtime game at home and a 2500 mile trip to San Diego the previous week and now travel again for a 4th road game in 5 weeks.
- EMU's rush defense is 118th out of 130 teams allowing >5 yards per carry and >220 yards/game. EMU's rush offense is 116th in the nation only averaging 110 yards/game and a miserable 3 yards per attempt which is 122nd in the country. They are also only one of 3 teams in the nation that doesn't have a single rush of more than 20 yards
- Western's on a great roll winning last 3 games by 142-54 score and should run all over EMU. They average 5.4 yards per attempt and >200 rushing yards/game.
