  • Conor McGregror vs Floyd Mayweather, Jr fight.

McGregor is a genius. He is going to get a huge payday from one of the most crooked sports...boxing. It's all about getting paid...and he is gonna get paid.

As far as the fight...as to who will win...I don't care. This is a TV spectacle and is designed to capture the "what if" mentality that sports sometimes creates. The one bet I like is this:

South Point Casino...will McGregor be disqualified during the fight +500.

The longer the fight goes...the more frustrated McGregor will get. I have 12 rounds for McGregor to get frustrated. Mayweather, Jr., doesn't knock out his opponents too much these days, and the fact that McGregor is a little bigger will hopefully keep him in on his feet for 12 rounds. So if I don't see a KO by Floyd and I don't see anyway McGregor can win...let alone touch Mayweather...I think there is value in a disqualification and hopefully McGregor loses his cool. I like the bet at +500

Agree with your view. It's a clown show. Cant believe they're charging $100 & up to see this farce. Might see one or the other have a freak injury and have it called "no contest". Most likely you're right on about the DQ. Conner cant catch him, wont be able to hit him, so a few knees in a clinch , and Bingo -Payday!

Keep in mind that in the contract it states that if Conor pulls ANY MMA stunts / gets disqualified, he doesn't get paid.

Contract also says that if he slams / chokes / kicks or pulls any other type of funny business, Mayweather will sue him

Yes, he is a hot head but the guy absolutely LOVES money and I find it very hard to believe that he would piss away $100 million+ for just a few minutes worth of work just because of getting frustrated / pissed.

Also keep in mind, win / lose or draw vs. Mayweather, there is a very likely chance Conor could fight Paulie Malignaggi next (lines for that fight have already been released). IF Conor got DQ'd it would almost guarantee he would never get booked for another boxing match again ... and fighting Paulie would be another massive paycheck.

Just my 2 cents ... Good Luck

read a report that he's using Paulie as a sparring partner. Dana supposedly has a tape of Connor dropping Paulie with a left hook.

The video shows Conor sparking Paulie with a huge left making him retreat then Conor follows with a solid blow that sends Paulie to the mat.

Conor looked slow and sloppy but no doubt smacked around the former IBF/WBA World Champion.

Pictures of the knockdown hit social media before the video came out and Malignaggi claimed he was pushed down ... which he wasn't. He got all pissy and immediately left McGregor's camp claiming that he was treated like shit and Conor was trying to embarrass him.

Ever since the sparing knockdown, Paulie has been very vocal about wanting a fight with him after the Mayweather circus.

Earlier today Bovada released a line ...

          McGregor +175

          Malignaggi -225

IMO there is a very good chance this fight happens if everything goes off without a hitch August 26th

OFFICIAL: Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place in 8-ounce gloves.

NSAC makes a one-time exception on its own rule.

This one time rule change favors McGregor in a big way ...............
