Conf. Championship Totals 2017
Going to put this up early this year. Last year even after I warned people that the numbers would move fast, it took a day or 2 for that to sink in. If you plan to follow this blind get in early, I mean right after the lines come out. I babysat my books till the lines came out and bet them within seconds of them being posted. In at least half of these games we will see at least a 3 point line move DOWN from the opener. That means if you wait you can count on getting a worse line than I do. Going to post the link to last year's results, which also has a link to the year before. The reasoning for why this is a good idea is in last year's post. It also don't hurt that bettors are wagering on teams they know very little about and "squares" are instinctively drawn to play overs. I think the first one is Wednesday. In situations where the semifinals are played the night before the lines for champ. games will be out around 9 a.m. CST at 5Dimes. If there is any days in between you will get them the day before. This should continue as a long term trend. Also, anyone that would like to middle these, I think that is a great idea. Bet more on your initial bets so you can play back half on the middles. I wouldn't try to middle anything unless you have at least a 3 pt window to do so. I think Spark44 pointed out one night last year all 3 games would have middled between opening and closing lines. If anyone sees a game I might have missed please reply in here as soon as possible. Last year I went 19-12 betting these and the year before they went 20-12, though I only bet 15 of them and went 10-5 myself personally.
