Re: NFL Off Season News And Rumors
Jets released CB Darrelle Revis.
Signed to a "five-year, $70 million" contract in March 2015, Revis returned to New York as a conquering hero, and turned in a solid 2015. Things have been very Jets-y since, with Revis' play falling off a cliff last season before a February arrest on felony assault charges.
According to Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline, the Vikings have been "showing a good deal of interest" in free agent Latavius Murray.
Per Pauline, this was even before the Vikings announced they wouldn't exercise Adrian Peterson's option.
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Broncos are "clearly in the driver's seat" for Tony Romo "if he's willing to take a pay cut."
Per Rapsheet, it's "the Broncos and then everyone else." Romo is currently due $14 million for 2017 in his soon-to-be-torn-up deal. It's arguably still a fair price, but the Broncos have lots of high-dollar players.
