Last two weeks, the Bears upset the Bucs and Panthers. Next on the Bears schedule is 3 more underdog gigs vs. Rams, Saints and Titans.
Last week was not a division game. The week before was not a division game either. This week? Out of division again. Database, you are my only hope. What about a team fresh off two upset wins vs. non-div opponents facing another non-div opponent as a dog? 43.9% ATS.
What about if my team is an away dog this time? 29.6%
Why are only 23% of these games OVER? CHI is going to play good defense? This is an UNDER game?
What if my team's upset was also on the road last week? 11% (1-8-1 ATS)
6 seems like way too many points to give this scrappy Bears team, but I suspect they will be down by 10 points at some point. Database says I should play the Rams -6. I did.
Missed on the Under though. It moved a few points, down to 44. I'm too chicken to take the bad line.
