  • Can somebody tell me why?

The NFL chooses to play a championship game in 16 degree weather at night, but stages the afternoon game in a domed stadium?

What the hell is the NFL thinking?

Re: Can somebody tell me why?

The NFL replay team reviews a catch where the tip of the ball may or may not have hit the ground. It takes seven minutes to do it, and in spite of ten different camera angles, nobody can tell the difference one way or another.

But the most flagrant case of pass interference in the history of the league can't be reviewed (in spite of the fact it would have taken five seconds to change the call), and a team gets cheated out of going to the Super Bowl.

What the hell is the NFL thinking?

I do lose a lot more races than I win.. playing in advance, late odds moves and high takeout very hard to overcome .. derby future opinion post 3713 on page 149 (horse plays)

Rapists, domestic abusers, and drug and alcohol abusers can always find another job in the NFL.

But nobody can use Colin Kaipernick despite the fact that he is better than at least a half dozen starting NFL quarterbacks.

The play looks like PI but no ref made a Call so there is nothing to review.NFL only reviews Referee Calls.
Saints got cheated out of a Super Bowl when Breze threw an INT in Overtime and the Rams kicked a 57 yard fg.

Colin Kaipernick is a God-Damn Trotskyite and the last thing I would want in my Lockerroom is a Bomb-Thrower even if his Name was Joe Montana.

They do review helmet to helmet targeting calls, and could have done so.

I've watched alot of football,I can't remember ever seeing any review of a helmet/helmet play that WASN'T involved with some call by a ref in the first place. If a ref don't call it,it didn't happen and there is nothing to review.

Can somebody tell me, in the middle of repeated Patriot conversations of 3rd and long last Sunday, why Andy Reid....just once.....couldn't dial up an all-out blitz on Tom Brady?

I mean when your four-man rush could not come close to getting to Brady, and your back seven could not cover anybody, why not take a shot?

There's a reason why Andy Reid is 1-5 in conference championship games, while having been favored in all but one of them.

It is not an NFL question, but can somebody tell me how Edgar Martinez and Mike Mussina can be in the baseball hall of fame, but not Barry Bonds, Don Mattingly, or Albert Bell?

Believe this is only done at the college level. Think it should be done in the NFL and will probably will be added in.
In college the replay is done to see if the hit was intentional and if the player is to be ejected.
Either way the 15 yard penalty stands.
