Brad Ausmus will be named the next Tigers manager, according to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal.
Ausmus has been a hot name on the managerial front this offseason, also receiving a look from the Cubs and Mariners. The 44-year-old has no managerial experience at the major league level but has served as a special assistant to the general manager with the Padres in recent years and is widely-regarded as an intelligent baseball man.
